Topic: DIY Paper dolls

Hi moms! I just want to share this cute idea my daughters and I had created for their DIY paper dolls.

As you can see it is actually just a panty box. I just simply cut the girls' picture out of it and then I cut a portion from that box for their dress.

I bought them a new panty and as my creativity strikes me I had a thought of "why not to cut these girls and turn it into a paper doll?"
And since that was the first time that my girls saw a paper doll, they really loved it!

But if this panty brand is not available in your area, you may also want to try printing these ready to print paper dolls and I am sure your daughters will surely love it instead of buying them expensive paper dolls.

Not that I am discouraging you to buy them toys they like but sometimes by giving our children simple things in life could make them more creative and imaginative. wink

Re: DIY Paper dolls

Very creative!!! And economical too! Why would I spend on barbie dolls if I can make something like this one? Sadly, my little one does not like this kind of toys. Her favorite are different kinds of balls! Haha! Seems I have a sporty kid in the future.

That's fantastic. I love that - I'll have to look out for interesting boxes. I loved paper dolls as a child!

Re: DIY Paper dolls

Thanks for sharing that wonderful idea of yours. you did it great, my kid loves paper doll too. She loves it, she like it, she won't allow it to be borrowed. She is always with it, it is her favorite, and probably she will tear it. Her paper doll's life last for only a day, she will wash it, she like tearing it in pieces while throwing it on the window one by one. :-) the great paper doll. next time I will make her a doll my own created doll.
