Just want to share my not so usual ceremony in the kitchen. Whenever i cook rice, I put turmeric and vinegar along with the washed rice before putting it in the rice cooker. Why? I've learned that turmeric has lots of benefit in our health and I personally did not like it as a tea so I just placed it in rice instead. On the other hand, vinegar has powerful properties that destroys growth of bacteria so it lengthens the life span of our rice to avoid spoilage.
