Topic: Afternoon nap good or bad?
Taking nap in the middle of the day was very important to most of the people in different part of the world.
It is believed that child taking mid day nap is more likely to grow taller because the body produces growth hormone while a sleep.
Aside from that, a power nap improves health, decreases stress, improved mood, increase alertness and productivity.
But I was surprised when I happened to read an article about mid day nap as bad for toddlers.
It says that napping beyond age of two lengthens the amount of time it takes for a child to fall asleep and shortens the overall amount of night sleep he has. Findings shows. For more details click here
