Topic: Gifts to avoid this Christmas!

My mother-in-law always manages to find the most annoying gifts on the face of the planet. Last year she got my two year old a drum set! Seriously. It’s terrible - firstly, it’s huge so it takes up a lot of room. It’s also cheaply made and plastic. It makes a terrible racket. The only good thing about it was that it fell apart after a month so we could get rid of it!

Anyone have a similar situation?
What other gift ideas should just be avoided?

Re: Gifts to avoid this Christmas!

Hmm, I once got a glitter and paint set for my two year old. There was glitter everywhere! It made such a terrible mess. There's still glitter in some places in my house.
