Topic: Christmas Party games ideas :D

It's already Christmas already next week. And we are planning to throw a small Christmas party for our family.

And it will be nice and cool if this will come up with a mini parlor games for both kids and adults.

So, here are some of the parlor games ideas that you might also wanted to try.

1. Guessing game.

These are just few of the classic  parlor games that I know. Is there anything else that you would like to share?

Something unique and new. I will greatly appreciate it. Thanks! smile

Re: Christmas Party games ideas :D

May I also share the game of White Elephant...exchange gift with a twist..
The game involves: (1 host needed - to facilitate the game)
1. No. of people who will be joining - the more, the merrier - (ex. let's say 20 people).
2. Prepare a small piece of paper (same color and sizes) - write any unique qualities/talents that your family/friends don't know. Write your name below it. After folding the paper, give it to the host. Only the host can read the paper.
3. All gifts should be unwrapped (have a min cost of 500 pesos - ($10 of gifts) and display it in front of the people who have joined the exchange gift.

Game proper:
1. The host will read the unique description in the paper and the participants will guess the person being described in the paper.
2. The first person who will guess the name will be the first one to choose the unwrapped gifts.
3. The host will read again another paper but the person who had already has a gift will not participate anymore, let others
guess the name until all papers have been read and no gifts remaining.

Hope you enjoy this game!!:)

Re: Christmas Party games ideas :D

We do a simple 'secret santa' where we all by a small gift of a low value. Then we wrap it up so it looks fantastic. Then you draw for positions (so if there are ten of you, you draw for positions 1 to 10.) Then the person who drew '1' gets to pick out of all 10 wrapped gifts. They open their gift and show it off. The second person then goes - but they have a choice of 'stealing' the first person's gift or choosing a new gift from the wrapped presents. If they steal a gift, the first person gets to pick out a new present. The person who goes third gets to pick from both opened presents, or a completely new gift. It gets quite funny because you try to hide the good gifts, or talk them down, so they don't get stolen.

Re: Christmas Party games ideas :D

We did marshmallow relay on our party and it is fun. You just need marshmallows and toothpicks for the materials. The mechanics of the game is to simply get the mallow on a plate using toothpick and pass the mallows until it reached the end of your line (no using of hands). The first team who will be able to successfully transfer the mallows till the end is the winner!

Kind a fun game Mara. Just make sure that toothpick is safe for the kids to play. But thank you so much for the idea. wink
