Gosh, I'm embarrassed to say how much coffee I drink. I live on the stuff. I need a cup to wake up in the morning, sip on coffee all day and then have a decaf at the end of the day while relaxing in front of the TV.

I cut down on all other drinks though. I don't like tea. I don't drink fruit juice or fizzy soda drinks, so basically, coffee is my drink. I love a good cappachino!

Whenever we take a long road trip over the holidays we end up stopping to buy food along the way. It's never good food, and it takes a lot of time to sit down and order food, wait for the bill, etc. This year I want to pack in advance. What kind of food can I pack the night before in a cooler box and sack on all day. Obviously sandwiches are an option. Anything else?

I love Sunday, it's a great day to relax and recharge, and catch up on all the things that need to be done before the next week. We often spend time with my family or my husband's family. It's great hanging out with my sister who has children the same age as mine.

We love to go for a dinner at a really nice restaurant. Not the most original idea, but a great opportunity to talk to each other. We try not to talk about the kids, and just focus on us. Of course it doesn't always work, and we just end up chatting about the kids.

I am not a fan of clothing with Disney characters all over them. I always avoided buying them for my son. I just don't like the idea of him walking around promoting a movie he doesn't even really like and sometimes they look garish.

But my little girl, she just loves characters. She has a Dora the Explorer shirt that she loves. She cries when it goes in the wash. I hate that shirt, but I let her wear it. She is so feisty, it's adorable.

I don't drink enough! But I do try to have a big glass of water the minute I wake up. Apparently starting the day with a glass of water is great for your health. The problem is you should try not drink or eat anything for 45 minutes after that - and by then I'm dying for my first cup of coffee!

My friend’s son is driving her mad. He has started waking up at 4am every morning. Then he starts banging around, singing, playing with his toys and generally being as loud as possible. They’ve tried ignoring him, tried telling him to go to bed but nothing works.

But the real problem comes in at the end of the day when he’s completely overtired and winey. He starts crashing at 4pm, which is too early to put him to bed.

What do you do with an unruly early riser.

Great ideas! Thanks everyone. I am going to pack a picnic and take my kids out for the day. Maybe I should invest in a kite!

I try to cook as many as three meals at the same time. So I buy chicken and a stir-fry sauce, and fry it up with some crunchy vegetables (like carrots and broccoli). I split the cooked chicken into two or three.

Then I cook rice the one night and noodles the next and serve it up in a slightly different way (add a sweet and sour sauce, add some corn, add peppers etc). Simple, but a nice quick way to do it.

What great ideas. We haven't made any gifts this year except some christmas biscuits for grandmom.

I have been this, which I think is a great idea... it's basically a jar which you fill with biscuit ingredients. The recipient just needs to mix it all together with eggs and butter to make cookies:
