Our 3 year old toddler doesn't want to sleep.

Topic: Our 3 year old toddler doesn't want to sleep.

I would like to ask if anyone could give me an advice on what to do with my 3-year-old child.

She does not want to go to bed in the evening. We tried everything, fairy tales, reading,

make her tired during the day, letting her little light in her room, but in the bed, she starts to cry.

In our room, she falls asleep around midnight. We are not giving her sweets in the evening....

I do not know what to do more.

She does it the last 3 weeks. Before we had no problems with her.

We also tried to wake her up earlier in the morning.

After lunch she also doesn't want to go to sleep, sometimes she does not sleep at all,

sometimes she falls asleep around 16-17.

Trying using aromatherapeutic balms or diffuser oils. It may help you kid fall asleep. Lavender is soothing and relaxing leading to helping your kid fall asleep. Let her also drink warm milk atleast an hour before bedtime; it helps in producing melatonin that triggers sleep.

Same is the case with my baby but lavender balm does work for him. And if he doesn't sleep then make him play a lot before sleeping, don't let him sleep for long time in afternoon so that he may get tired and sleepy at bedtime and turnoff the lights so that he knows he has to sleep now

Re: Our 3 year old toddler doesn't want to sleep.

We had times too that my children did not want to go to sleep at all.
But I put them to the bed at the same time every day. We had same routines
before bed, so they know it is time to go to sleep. If they came out
from their bed I took them back. Some nights it was 20 times
but they learned that when it is time to sleep, then they have to sleep.
Sometimes we have to teach them things the hard way and we need to have a lot of patience.
