Hello YepMoms,

I know this is very rare to happen but what if your child accidentally ate spicy food?

What are your most effective remedy for that?

I actually have one;  milk?

Milk

Milk contains casein, which is a fat loving substance that essentially has detergent effect on the capsaicin (an active ingredient in chili).

Capsaicin doesn't dissolve  in water so it is not advisable to drink water after eating spicy food.  It will only spread the burning all over the mouth.
