My Daughter don't want to Drink Milk, what to do?

Topic: My Daughter don't want to Drink Milk, what to do?

At the age of 1 year and a half months, my daughter stopped from using feeding bottles. She drinks from the tumbler with straw instead, she started to drink from the glass when she reaches 2. The problem is after a few months, she doesn't want to drink milk anymore. I tried to put back the straw, but it doesn't work. Until today she is 2 years and a half, I am giving her the powdered milk to eat, instead of dissolving it in water. The questions are, it is advisable to give her powdered milk or not and what to do?

If your daughter is eating regular meal, there is really nothing to worry about as much as you still giving her nutritious food that's fine. But if you insist you can try chocolate flavored milk with the same nutrients on it. Your kid will not like it if you will force her to drink milk.

Thanks for the advice. I will buy chocolate flavored milk next time. I will not force her to drink milk if she doesn't want. Giving her fruits after her meal and to encourage her to eat more vegetables are helpful too.

Don't force her to drink milk if she doesn't want to since it'll only cause distress. Try exploring other sources of calcium that's good for kids. Oranges have a high calcium content apart from Vitamin C, some kinds of fishes like sardines or salmon work as well smile

Buy flavored straw available in the supermarket, chocolate or strawberry, you can try it to add flavor to the milk that she is drinking. This may help.

If not, try changing to chocolate flavored milk or do alternate in giving:  milk then chocolate then strawberry flavored. Check in days what will be the flavored straw that can

Don't remove milk in your toddler. These can provide complete balance diet for your toddler.
