When to have my second baby

Topic: When to have my second baby

Hey moms.. I have an important question here to put which would definitely help all the first time moms. It is about the perfect gap that should be between children . I think 3 yrs is best. But what other mothers suggest from heir own experiences?

Re: When to have my second baby

I had my second child late - after about 4 years. It worked for us. I wasn't ready before. They get on well now. My son was old enough to understand what was going on, so it worked out well, less jealously. Honestly, you got to make sure you are ready.

Re: When to have my second baby

My youngest came unexpectedly and unplanned.
I gave birth an interval of 1 1/2 years from the eldest.

The recommended advise of my Dr. OB Gyne should be 3 years apart so that the first child born after the second can have ample time for the parents to dedicate their time for their growing up children.

For me, I take it as a positive and ideal one.

It surely did made me a super busy working mommy, but I enjoy every part of it.
Bustling the busy schedule promotes joys and happiness on my part that I attended the needs and wants of my children.
You see the mess and noise all over our house, the tiring days and nights as parents we were experiencing.

Now that I see them, it such a fulfillment to see them grow together, I am happy that it happens.

No regrets!

Re: When to have my second baby

Well this means its best to have 3 or more than 3 yrs gap because its quite true that it takes time to come out of the child birth and labor difficulties physically and mentally and looking after the first child giving him proper attention and especially potty train him. further I can't say anythoing if something happens unexpectedly!!!

Re: When to have my second baby

It's up to you and your husband when you want to have a baby, as long as you are both ready, however, the recommended gap between children should be 2-3 years. This was also mandated by WHO way back. smile
