Do you allow your teenagers to stay late outside?

Topic: Do you allow your teenagers to stay late outside?

You know, nowadays, teenagers like partying, going out with their friends, and often stay out late with their peers. In our country (Philippines), crime rates already decreased for the past few months but some are still inevitable. Personally, I'm the type of person who'd rather stay home on weekend nights rather than stay up til 4am partying.

Do you allow your son/daughter remain outside with friends until wee hours in the morning? Why or why not?

I do not have a teenager yet but for me you should not allow them specially when your child is a girl.

I do have a teenager but he's only 13.
We never teach our children to stay outside.
They were not raised to visit or go to our neighborhood houses and stay there until they like.
They are raised spending time at home along with their cousins.

I agree with you, moms. I was also taught by my mom to refrain or avoid sleep over to other people's houses because according to her, "we have our own house, so go home and sleep here instead."

I think that's also the reason why I am quite uncomfortable with having to sleep over at someone else's house.
