Is your baby constipated? What are the home remedies for constipated child?

As a mom, as much as possible I don't want to give my child an OTC whenever they are sick.

So I want to share with you 2 ways on how to relieve constipation on your babies.

*increase water consumption- try adding 2-4 ounces of water after feeding if you feel that your baby is constipated.
* add less than 2 ounces of prune juice, pear or apple after feeding.

If you know something else feel free to share. smile

Actually, my baby seldom get constipated. Aside from her constant drinking of water, I make sure she has plenty of fiber intake through the foods she is eating. She loves to eat watermelon and it is fibrous and watery. Also, we like oatmeal in the morning. Fruits are good sources of fiber too!
